Well I picked up 3 ducklings, almost a week old, when I bought some keets this weekend. They came from a hatchery that had an assorted mix instead of the normal runner, pekin, rouen mix. The seller and I could pick out some pekin and blue swedish but a couple left us stumped! I really wanted more but am already going nuts with cleaning up after these ducklings. so I only took 3 to add to my 4 and my 4 I am waiting on to hatch.

This one is very dark. Doesn't normally stand like this and is only like this because it wanted back in the brooder so my daughter had to keep her hands up to keep him still long enough for a picture.

This is the middle colored duck. Under the yellow it is black. so a sabled coloring.

And the last one. Named Puddles. Yes only one has a name! lmao I think this one may be a runner.

The second looks a Welsh Harlequin or possibly Appleyard to me- and the 3rd photo - magpie??? Not really sure- but thats my thoughts anyway.

I was thinking magpie on #3 as well, I have no idea on #2, but #1 looks like a black swedish, because of the black and yellow feet. If not for that, I would say cayuga.

First im not sure with - bt it is deff not a cayuga, too much white and the legs and feet would have had to be solid black. Last one im going to say magpie as well.

hahaha That would be hilarious if the 2nd is an Appleyard! When I get my other 4 in we will know for sure. They should have hatched yesterday or today. Waiting on the email to go get them.
Have to go look up magpies...

I know we will know for sure when they are full grown, but I hate waiting for long surprises!
