That is such an awesome and cute idea!! How did you cut the cupcake liner to fit the chicks? I might want to try it out myself!

Muhaha I knew those cupcake liners at the back of the pantry would have a use someday >: )
Who knows I may have to try to make them little hats too. I certainly have enough time nowadays.

That is such an awesome and cute idea!! How did you cut the cupcake liner to fit the chicks? I might want to try it out myself!

Honestly I just cut them down a tiny bit around the top and then cut a little hole in the bottom part and slipped it over them. No specific way really.

I tried it with older ones and they were NOT receptive.

The chicks were born a week before the duckling pair. When the ducklings were about two-weeks-old, I adopted three poults that were also a week older. Somehow, the Pekin pair became the parents. They covered the chicks and poults the best they could overnight, and the babies actually laid on the ducks’ backs. The Pekins didn’t swim until the chicks and poults were adults.
