got it

Is there anyway to just lay them on their side? Or do you have an egg turner? I have to hand turn mine, so I keep mine on their side.

I often have this issue with my Marans eggs. I lay them on their sides for 3 or 4 days and by that time I can usually candle and am able to see which end the air cell is on.

I thought I was the only one with that problem, glad to hear that I am not.Two of them have air cells that reach around the side of the eggs at 16 days in the incubator. I wonder if that is the problem and stupid me put them in upside down. The chicks are alive and kicking so I guess I'll see on monday, yes my hatch date is april fools day.

cant post any photos but what i did is put 6 of them under my broody hen and lettting her figure it out , theres 2 or so out of the 9 left for the incubator that i might just guess .. its 50 -50 heads or tails
