got me some chickens

My brother has raised chickens in the past, and last month he got back into it. He's a by the seat of his pants kinda guy...... me, I'm a little more calculated. So while I'm reading up on things and gathering info, he went and got 24 chicks. Not to be out done I picked up a dozen myself, they are at his place and coming along fine. Now I'm in the process of building my coop that I'll attach to the end of an 8'x24' run I've built. The wife and kids are excited and we are all looking forward to our flock. I'll post some pics and update the progress. I just wanted to say hello to all and thanks for sharing all of the stories,questions,and pictures. They have been very helpful and inspiring.
