Got more chicks-Help What are they? PICS

bought more chicks at the store today. I can't help it. They had a galvanized tub of mixed bantys and I couldn't resist.

1- Black on the back with yellow underside; pekin

2- Reddish brown with a dark gray tone on the wings; dark area between eyes; pekin

3- super small plain yellow, with brown wing tips- tail feathers upward

4- super small yellow with gray tint, duckwing(?)

I will get pics tomorrow. They are for my Mom as I raised the chicks this year and she missed out on the growing.

2 of 4 had really bad pasty butt - of course the feed store can't watch for that. They were last Fridays delivery so they must be about a week old.

They are way too cute..my Mom was glued to the brooder.

Maybe this should have gone in Breeds..

Aw, those are adorable chicks!

I am by no means an expert, but I think the first chick is a barred rock.

I am no expert by far, but when it is very small and the tail feathers point up, it could be a Japanese bantam. Does yours have kind of short legs - walks with a little waddle? Looks like its leaning forward a bit more than the others most of the time?

We have a little black and white colored one. Ours is incredibly loud for being so incredibly little! Also very sweet - it will lay in the palm of a cupped hand and just doze contentedly.
