Got my 1st pair of Pekins this last week and I LOVE THEM

I finally talked my husband into getting a heavy breed of duck. We have had Call Ducks for a couple years now and I've been wanting a pair of Pekins... Finally, after seeing them at our local fair, we purchased a pair from a local 4her. I cant wait to get chicks for next year!!!! We are thinking about ordering from Metzer Farms unless we can find some chicks locally. They have to be born Dec - March for our fair. Anyone on here, close to me, have Pekins?? I'd love to chat.

I have 5 pekins they are so fun to watch.I adore Daisy,Aflac,Casanova(drakes) and Winter Rose,Luna my ducks.Pekins are my favorite.

They seem so comical! i don't have any but have seen plenty, they are probably THE most popular duck around the farms here.
