Got my first 2 ducklings

I've been raising chickens for almost 2 years now and went for some Americauna chicks yesterday and wound up getting two Peking Ducks to go with them. I guess I'll make a duck coop attached to my chicken pen. Not sure how they will intermingle with chickens. I keep my chickens in a pen during the day and let them out to roam the yard when I get home from work until dark. I have hawks that fly around occasionally and coyotes at night so I can't let them stay out all the time. I figured I'd get a little kiddie pool for the ducks to play in.

Oh.. they are so cute!!

I have 4 baby Pekin ducks.. they looked like you 2 yellow ones... but they are only 2 weeks old now.. and they are huge with big long necks... I love them.. but they are 100 percent more messy than my chickens.

I was going to keep them with the chickens.. but they would mess the coop up and make it stinky in a few hours.. so now I am building them their own coop.

I have a large covered pen they can share with the chickens but I figured I'd build them a small coop. I let my birds out to free range the yard once I get home until dark.
