Got my first green egg!

I already had chicks; but not being that patient, I bought 2 RIR (probably production reds)hens and two ready to lay pullets. One was Barred Rock/RIR cross and started laying not long after getting them home. The other is Barred Rock/Americana (or EE?). She layed her first egg today and it was sort of an olive green color. It wasn't that small either!

Only 3 or 4 months left for the babies to start laying!
