Got my GG eggs today

Well, I ordered 120 Georgia Giant eggs from Wadley Quail Farm, and my "FIRST" fear of receiving a bunch of cracked eggs turned out to be a huge relief. Ordered them Sunday night, and got 129 eggs today UPS. "ONE" cracked egg out of 129!!! Lack of fertility may be my biggest let-down, but from what I've read about all the disappointments of eggs being cracked in shipment had me a little skepitcal, but that part was OK. They did what they said they would do......get them out Monday, and I'd get them Thursday.........and they're here. Now, for 23-day period of truth

Ah, never previously heard of them. But, I don't know too much of quail breeds besides Cortunix and Button. Always loved their eggs, but am afraid of their absolute tiny size, bird AND quail.

We killed a few GG's 2 weeks ago, mainly the excess roosters we had been feeding out. They were huge, I wish I had weighed them, but they were easily twice as big as a normal quail. The breasts were huge. And they tasted great. As I remember, we only had about a 50% hatch, but we didn't order from Wadley's. Good luck with your hatch.
