I've currently got ten laying hens 5 black sex links and five Easter eggers.
And they've been laying like crazy this winter.
Yesterday I got 5 brown eggs and 5 green eggs for 100%! YEA!!
Normally I don't sell my excess eggs I gift them or trade them.
But after reading a post here recently where somebody was looking for an egg stamp I decided what the heck why not get one of my own?
So I googled it and found one on Zazzle that I liked that I was able to personalize.
So here it is.
I will add that it shipped fairly quickly price was reasonable and I'm happy with the transaction.
I did purchase some blank Avery labels that I can put my stamps on as many of the cartons I have do not have a good space to stamp them.
So now when I gift my eggs my friends and family and neighbors will remember where they came from and who's delicious eggs they're eating.
Which reminds me I've got to stop by my neighbor's and drop off a dozen eggs for the snow plowing he did for me yesterday with his side-by-side.

Very nice!
It is great your pullets are laying like gangbusters.
A word of caution, next autumn you'll experience a dearth of eggs when they all molt and take a winter break.
That's one of the reasons for getting the sexlinks. A coworker has some and his laid right through molting.
I keep them on supplemental light so they don't really take a winter break.
This worked good with my last batch but those were EE's, Barred rocks, and RIR's.
They slowed down with molting but I still had enough eggs for myself.

So cool!

I got myself one for Christmas. I'm still working out trying to get a clear impression on a blank carton. My husband's going to get a 2x4 sized down and I've got some foam to glue onto it so I can support the underside of the top of the carton to be able to press firmly with the stamp.

I like yours and think it's far more dignified but I like cheeky. Also, how much easier to stamp on labels you smart lady!!!

That's cool as well.
I wanted my laat name on mine which is why I got the one I did. Well that and I like to tell people all the time that I have happy chickens and that's why I get so many eggs.
whatever Stamp a person uses I think it's a nice added personal touch and let's them know that they're not buying/receiving whatever was in that carton to begin with but farm fresh local eggs!

I used to have personalized carton labels when I sold a lot of eggs and I mentioned things like organic pasture, etc.. Most of my eggs are hatched or sold for hatching now and we seldom have more eating eggs than what we can use.

Well, mine, obviously, is to tickle me. I'll never have enough eggs to sell and my friends are a silly bunch who will share the laugh.

I did buy a personalized stamp for a friend, tho, that's far more sedate. I don't think she'll ever sell any eggs either. But I hope it makes her and her husband smile when they use it.

Here's hers with her name.
