Got our Chicks!!!

We got our chicks yesterday. All I can say is we are super excited. My wife says i am addicted to this site . We are starting off with 6 but friends I have say "don't worry you will get more". I had one get a little pasty butt, we washed her, and had to cut off a little bit, it was rock hard. We are using play sand in the bottom of the old rabbit cage and they love it. Thanks for every ones help who answer all my questions, and i am sure there will be more to come.

You should read the "explaining chicken math" thread. Last year we started with 6, which turned to 17. We now have 35!
A cotton ball soaked in warm water works well for the little chicken butts. Some vita-mix/save-a-chick in the water will be helpful too.
