Thank you!Sounds great! Can't wait to see how good it does for you! ( And your coop and run are adorable!!)
Thank you! He sacrificed an old drill box for me. At least I think that's what it is.Very nice coop and run!
I have GOT to get sand! I'm sure it would make a great difference in the winter time too.
Thanks for the info! And what an ingenious pooper scooper! It's actually cute!![]()
I went to a local landscaping place. I asked for river sand and they told me that is just a natural sand. This sand I got has no dust so I'm extremely pleased with that. Sorry I couldn't help more. I will tell you that I paid 22 dollars a ton and got a little over three tons now, so a pretty good deal I think. Good luck in getting sand! It really has been wonderful so far.Where can I find this sand? I've heard it called construction sand by 'the-chicken-chick.com", equestrian sand.....cant find either. I've heard not to use play sand, so I've been waiting to find out where can I get a truck load of this stuff so I can get rid of these flies that think they live in my chicken run! I live in Charleston, S.C. and I've researched construction websites and no one carries the sand I'm supposed to get. Right now I am using wood pellets, but the flies are still horrible. Any advice would be awesome!
Thank you! That's a pretty cool scooper! Nice set up too!
