Got some chickens today. Dreams do come true!

Hi! I have wanted to raise chickens since I saw many people in the Pacific NW raising them in their backyards in the city, 4 years ago. We bought a small coop several months ago and it's been sitting there waiting for some inhabitants. Today was the day! My 3 children (all under 7) and I were very excited to get 3 red Sex Link pullets from a local livestock auction to welcome into our family. We have strict rules in our town but I hoping we can give them a good, happy safe life as backyard pets! I have a lot to learn so I am excited to join this community!!
