got some cochin chicks on the 19th. need some help identifying them.

Wow, what beautiful babies! I don;t know colors that well but what I do know sounds fairly right for what you posted. The mottled are gorgous. The last little one is awfully blue for a white. I have 2 partridge cochins about 12 weeks old.

Hope someone else more educated can help out, but thanks for sharing such sweetie

The brown ones could be partridge too. Did you order colors, or assorted?

I don't know about mottles or birchens, I have never had any of those colors. Yes, I would guess the gray ones are blues, although you may end up with splashes too.

I think the ones you think are gold laced will actually turn out to be silver laced. I think typically the gold laced are more yellow reddish brown all over and yours seem to have more the grey/blue/silvery color goin' on even though there is a bit of reddish brown on the head.
