Took some better photos today of some of the questionable chickens in our new flock. Let me start with, I bought all pullets, except for the Sebright Bantams - those were bought as straight runs.
I have attached photos below:
#1: Silver Laced Sebright Bantam (5 wks)

#2: Black Cooper Marans (9 weeks)

#5: Speckled Sussex (9 weeks)

Phew, okay… READY. SET. GOOOOOO!

Number 3 is a pullet. Number 4 may also be a pullet. Wyandottes take a bit longer to develop. Post updated pics of that one in a few weeks. She also appears to be a normal black laced gold.

The rest in question are cockerels.
Thank you!
The golden Sebright was one that I was on the fence with. I have another Sebright but it does not have a comb or anything at 9 weeks old. So this one showing a comb at 5 weeks - I was thinking could be a boy.

We are now at 12-13 weeks - here is the speckled Sussex who really hasn’t grown much more wattles or comb… still has a lot compared to others but it’s not growing as rapidly now and is not turning red, more of a light pink…

“It” just gets along great with the marans rooster, and they seem to always be together? I was HOPING for a mature hen, still hoping. The marans rooster has started to crow, along with the Polish and the seabright, this one has not!

Still looks to be a cockerel :/ Sometimes cockerels will not crow if in the presence of more dominant birds!
