Haha, she's not good at keeping eggs under her but makes a great mom... why didn't she get broody earlier!!! Then I could have pawned off the chicks to her to care for... OH well.. here she is! Royally peeved.

Yep it is amazing how wonderful some broody mom's can be. Mine have taught the babys so well that they can move up the pecking order on some of the older hens. When they free range they are superior to chicks raised in a brooder and need to learn everything on their own.
