Gouldian finches are setting on eggs!

I am in my second season of raising Goudians and my pair are again sitting on eggs after having the summer apart. They had three clutches in a row last year. My husband is actually excited! Dad is a yellow/white breast/red head and mom is normal green back, white breast, black head. We got all three head colors last year- red, orange and black and both yellows and green backs. I kept one pair from last year. Hoping for another productive year! If all goes well we may hear some peeping in about a week and a half

right ON! I am in my first year of raising red headed parrot finches. A small clutch, i think three, hatched this week!

Congrats, DH and I tried gouldians many years ago and just couldn't keep them alive! Beautiful birds but we just didn't have the knack.
