Govee Thermometer and Hydrometer

I ordered a two pack of Govee Thermometer/Hydrometers for my Nurture Right 360's. How do you all put them in the bator? Do you just sit them on top of the eggs? Or does that hinder the turning process? Photo for reference of what it looks like.

I'm not familiar with that Bator.
I used these and I have put one on top of my eggs and I put one next to the eggs with no issue.
