This swap starts earlier so all vendors, please arrive before then to be set up and ready.

Bring cardboard boxes so customers can take their new pets home in and remember

All animals must be in cages
All animals must be in excellent health and not show ANY signs of respiratory illness, open wounds or be otherwise unwell.
Please check for external parasites and treat birds accordingly.
All out of state poultry must be tested for pullorum/typhoid and avian influenza no more than 10 days prior to event
In state poultry, you're in luck. There will be an onsite tester. Just arrive plenty early to give yourself time to get your birds tested.

Good Lord, Erin. Just reading your posts is wearing me out. I cam home from work yesterday and slept for 3 hours, trying to catch up from Saturday!!

And here you are, planning another swap.

I sold a lot of birds this past weekend, but for some reason I only sold a few of the approximately 40 chicks I brought. I thought for sure the chicks would be the first to go, but folks wanted the older birds. So I'd love to come to this one and try to sell some of the little ones, but I just had my AI pulled before the swap last weekend, and it's hard to get our tester out...I don't know if I could make another round of AI happen within 10 days of this sale.

I wonder if my husband would allow a 3rd swap in 3 months time...? I'd like to get my hands on some more Cochin Bantams. This one is farther away, though. I'll probably have to sit this one out if I plan on going to Crossroads in October.
