GQF Digital Incubator Hygrometer Who uses these?

How many use this hygrometer and does it need calibrated before I use it? I just bought 2 a Meyer hatchery and will be getting some Duccle eggs on friday. My last hatch of Duccle eggs resulted in only 2 out of 20. I found out my Accurite wasn't so accurate. I put 2 in a brooder and both had different temps. off by 6* that is a lot. So when I found these I was excited. So do they work?
