My grandson loves my chickens. He thinks they're cool. His words. He 'helped' me to clean out the coop and tend to the run this this morning. He's feeding meal worms to the chickens in this picture.

Thank you for sharing this! Getting our chicks and taking care of them has been a life changing experience for my four year old son. Hes gone from nearly being kicked out of preschool and having to see a behavior counselor to being told we no longer need the counseling and school is soo extactic to see the change. While we have dogs, my son has a different connection with 'his chicks' and I'm just amazed at the positive and unexpected changes made in just a few short weeks. He's even asking if he can have his chickens at the fair like what he saw in the 4-H livestock area at the fair when we went! I am soo proud to share raising these chicks with my son!!
