Graphic Designers: I need a corporate brand!

Hi,

I have been looking for some help with a logo design, advertisement design. I have been contacting the marketing consulting firms in my area but they charge $100 per hour. Is there someone out there willing to work for less than that? I have always heard of starving artist. I want someone who is looking for some work and pay, but not looking for quite $100 an hour. Is this unreasonable?

I am not esthetically inclined. I don't think in pretty. I have photoshop but don't know how to use it. And frankly I don't really want to use it.

I am looking for help with designing a logo to put at the top of my website, choosing color layout for the new site redesign, the banner advertisement for BYC, designing the Full page ad I just put in Backyard Poultry Magazine, and the ad I put in the Poultry Press. Also if you are able to help me with layout of my catalog that would be AWESOME!

If I should just be paying the $100 an hour let me know. If there are people out there willing to work for a more reasonable wage get in touch with me! I am an entrepreneur just starting out and trying to earn a living for my family and hopefully yours too.

You don't need to be local, just available for exchanging emails, phone calls, skype chats or whatever works for you.

Right after sending this I had a customer that in her signature said Graphic Design and Printing. She is willing to work in barter for birds! She is going to be working on a logo.

I also need help with laying out my catalog, advertisements etcetera. Let me know if you are interested in working with me on this kind of thing.
