Just noticed this sticking out of my chickens amputated wing. What is it and do I cut it off when I clean the wound??

Is something stuck to the wound? Try cleaning it to see if it comes loose.

looks like a bit of wing web tendon to me

should be easily snipped carefully

I irrigated it with water and iodine. It actually kinda looked like a piece of "meat" that had dried up? He kept grabbing and pulling it so I did trim it down. Odd, it just showed up yesterday and today is day 8 since the amputation!!

BTW- see those white flecks on his feathers?? What are those? It's been about three days of that now.
