Montie's babies are hatching!

She had a lot of eggs so i wanted to wait a day or two before checking on her and them. I went out this mroning and there's a whole bunch of little fuzzies under her & all different colors!! She's such a good girl, i thought she would be a great mom and i'm happy to see no stray babies or anything bad this morning. She doesn't mind me touching her or the babies and only cheeped at the camera once, lol.

here's a few pictures, they're not good but she's in a solid box and i had to lift her up. the coop was very busy & full this morning too!

oh what a good momma duck and the babies are gorgeous...so many colors! I was laughing at the look on dad's face in the doorway...looks like he would eat your socks if there was any messing with his wife and children...

Oh Bleenie, she IS a good mama!! And look at the colors! Oh I'm soooooooooooooo jealous!! Next year for me for babies from my Scovys. I do have 12 Muscovy eggs in the incubator though. I needed more! LOL

She has a TON of eggs left under her still!! I just went and collected 12 of the 13 hatched babies and moved them to the brooder i just finished this morning (will post pics soon). There are lots of different colors but theyre all so cute

She's still doing so good sitting on all those eggs but i wanted to get some of the babies out since they started hatching yesterday. this way they'll have food and water when they get hungry and wont be stuck with mom til the other hatch.

Bleenie, she looks so happy and pretty!!! she looks like she likes her picture taken!! my quack attack does too. Montie didn't bite you or attack you when you went near her babies????
