I know it's not the season for them, but I moved into a house with bee problems and needed a good remedy for when the weather does finally get warm again. I sure do miss the sun.

Sounds easy enough, I'll definitely give it a try when the weather warms up. Thanks!

Although, this will only work for Yellow Jacket/Wasp-type insects, not bees (bees only consume nectar & pollen, not meat

Thanks for sharing - I'll be trying that next year......... we tried the traps you BUY - didn't catch ONE yellow jacket!

Yellow Jackets/Wasps are meat eaters..I had one once eating the covering off a chicken bone while I was eating it...Guess who won...
I've used the traps that you put juice in and a piece of meat on the tubes. The tubes only open up and they get tired and fall in and drown...

Thanks for sharing that...they are a real threat to hens.

I lost 4 of them that we got for our kids when we were adopting them...due to a yellow jacket nest in the hen house we didn't notice until it was too late.

Stung to death is all we can assume.
