Green Ancona duck eggs color gene

Hello all,

I am fortunate to have six Ancona ducklings that hatched today from green eggs! Does anyone know if the male, female, or both, will carry the green gene in future generations?

I have a White Hybrid layer female and wondered if I bred her with a green gene male (assuming it's the male that carries the gene), if the offspring would produce green egg layers?

**UPDATE**
The hens started laying this week and of the two females that I kept, one lays green, one white.
