Green Egg

When I was picking chikcs last summer, I bought two EE chicks in hopes of getting a green or blue egg. I thought that all of my girls were laying (a wide range of brown eggs), and I was a little sad that it looked like my EEs were both giving me brown eggs. This afternoon my DH brought in a beautiful green egg!

Why does this matter so much!?!

Congrats! My one EE has laid me light brown eggs now for a year, so I know she's not giving me surprises. . . That's what my Ameraucanas are for.

It matters because your wish came true and lets face it, green/blue eggs are just plain Cool!!!

My EE lays the most beautiful green/blue egg !! And hands down she lays the biggest egg of any others in the coop her egg is jumbo!
