I have a question, I keep reading people say cross a homozygous blue layer to a white layer and you will get blue eggs. Is there a big visual difference between homozygous blue layers and heterozygous? I would think homozygous blue layers produce better, deeper blues. Can anyone back this up with experience? @DarJones ? And along those same lines, wouldn’t an olive egger with 2 blue genes be better than an olive egger with only 1 blue gene?
