2 year old Easter egger with anywhere from greenish to yellowish poops. All on the looser side.
Backstory: I bought my EE from someone else about a month ago. I had lost all but one hen to a predator break in and my last remaining hen ended up with vision issues due to injury. She needed a buddy to help her get around. So I quickly found her a buddy.
I was told this EE was laying. She has not laid since Ive had her, it's upwards to 90 degrees out in FL right now.
Her poops have ranged anywhere from bright greenish (my concern was she had all bile coming out) to yellow. Like yellow yellow. They get layer feed, and water W/apple cider vinegar.
Fecal float done last week- negative
One morning her crop was full (maybe her crop was impacted and that's why she had some bright green poops?), massaged it that day and it was empty in the eve.
Her poops are not foamy, she has no smelly odor coming from her beak. She's not lethargic. She's dust bathing, foraging around and chirping. She's drinking and eating, I've seen it.
My vision impaired hen has solid brown, normal looking poops.

Any experience/recs?

Yellow poop can mean she has something going on with her reproductive system..
Maybe laying internally or EYP.
How does her belly area feel?

Nothing abnormal. Her crop is empty right now so she really hasn't eaten today then. I've seen her pecking at the food bin today.....so she's eating just not a lot.
I'm not sure what would be abnormal to feel on her abdomen though...

Can you compare her belly area to her "buddy"?
What breed and age is the buddy?

If she is internally laying her belly area may feel full, hard, bloated, and or squishy...like full of water.

Can you soak about a half cup of feed in water for a little while..then scramble and egg and put it on top of the wet feed..she if that will help her to eat.
Water is extremely important...you don't want her to get dehydrated.

belly is not squishy or protuberant.

My hen is the partially blind one, she's young hasn't laid yet. Around 6mo. Pretty sure she's a brahma

So she literally just passed a formed brown poop.

Wooo!! I think what might have been going on was a slight impaction of her crop causing the bright green poop initially because nothing was moving in her gut (she doesn't have much access to grass so I don't think that was causing the green color)
