Thanks for posting,
Just inserting an observation from reading postings about Greenfire Farms.
I read many postings, but do not answer the majority. There are many peeps not happy with their Greenfire Farms orders.
I know Greenfire carries many breeds that few other hatcheries do.
So if you need a certain breed, they may be only ones that have it.
Sometimes you just have to bite-the-bullet,, and hope for the best.

^ agree. I don't think anyone who really wants the best genetics is going to go to green fire (or most of the major hatcheries) but yeah it does bear saying.

Their Indio Gigante breed for example seems to largely be avoided or being ditched by IG breeders for being too short and it seems like even a few generations in, I'm seeing some breeders taking out their green fire stock and sticking to Rare Rooster Acres.


But, for clearance chicks for people who maybe just want pretty chickens with some aesthetic flaws (hopefully nothing terrible health-wise, haven't heard anything about that) it could be a good sale for some slightly uncommon breeds.
