Greens for the Ladies

Since 4 days now, we are proud an happy owners of four chicken. My question, how much greens do I feed them? I usually hang up a really big tree kale leave on a tree bark and it takes them about 2-3 hours to eat it up. Now is that enough or should they have greens all day long?

I'm new to this also this is day 4 for me if been told to leave what they can eat in twenty minutes or so I'm not sure if thats for scratch or all snacks I don't think it would hurt them though as long as they will still eat their regular feed and not get to spoiled lol take what I say w/ a grain of salt though like I said I'm still a newbie

Yes I heard the 20 min. as well. They do have their pellets which I give a hand full/ chicken in the morning, and they finish these in the afternoon. So the kale wouldn't be in the way of them finishing their ratio of the daily pellets. Lets see what other write.
