New to chickens allowed to have 4 hens where I am at (city). I have been reading things on BYC for the last 6 months or so before I got my birds, I am enjoying them even thought I had a little bad luck with getting 6 out of the 1st 7 as Roos but have my 4 hens and am learning as I go. Looking forward to more to come.

So glad you joined us! Getting lots of roosters always stinks :(. I have speckled sussex. I would post pics but it is telling me I do not permission so I will have to figure out what is going on

Sometimes, it can take a short while before you are allowed to post pics. I think its a kind of "security" thing. Seeing as its Sunday, maybe the "powers that be" have yet to give permission to post pics on your account
