Hello,

I came across this forum via a Google search for coop plans and ended up staying and reading a bunch. Our 1 year old daughter received 2 RI Reds and 2 Barred Rocks for her birthday from her Aunt in Maine. Neither my wife nor I have any prior experience with chickens (or notice for that matter

) So we have had to learn quickly. I have made a coop and a "chicken run" for them and we have fumbled through our first month. I look forward to bothering this community with a host of questions in the future. Our only hope is that one day, eggs will be a part of all this...
