1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
New to BYC but not new to chickens.Got my first chickens back in the 1990's.In 2000 I was able to start my own hobby farm raising,breeding,and selling mainly colorful,winter hardy layers.That lasted until 2010 when I was forced to move back to the city-central Florida
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
city limits allow 6,um...I have 9
(3) What breeds do you have?
Production reds,Easter eggers,Jersey giants,white leghorn
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
I have known about BYC for years from other addicts and I have sought answers in your articles/emails
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
BIRDS! I raise zebra finches,working on any color other than normal.I have recently aquired some gouldian finches by way of rescue and now I am trying my hand with button quail in my aviary
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Family is just me and my husband,other than the birds I have 3 Australian Cattle Dogs,a hound mix and a pitbull mix.And 2 indoor cats.Occupation..unable to work because of permanent spinal disease.
