Greetings,

Just started raising chickens with my daughter here on Whidbey Island, WA. And we were surprised at how fun and charming chickens are.
We started with 4 Rhode Island Reds. A feral cat got one when they were chicks but their pen is more secure now and the remaining three are doing well. No eggs yet but they should probably be laying any time.
If anyone else in the area could give us some pointers it would be most appreciated.
