Hi everyone. I'm new here and have only had a backyard flock since September. Our girls are laying well and weathering the subzero temps we've had in Denver this week beautifully - they just fluff out their feathers and seem to do fine, hanging out in the run even in single-digit temps.
We've got a half dozen hens that are about 8-months old. Two Barred Rocks, Two Australorps (I think), a Buff and a Wyandotte.
I've used the forum for info in the past and now I hope to contribute where I can.
Looking forward to being part of the community!
