Hey!

My name is Alysha and I live in Melbourne, Australia.

I lived on a hobby farm from 3 weeks old till I was about 5 years old and we had 28 chickies! As well as 2 sheep (Ma and Baa), a ram called Lambchops, a pony named Brandy and a couple of geese. After moving around a bit we moved back to Melbourne when I was 8 and adopted 3 beautiful backyard chickens - Angel, Buffy and Kahlua.

Now I am 22 and have recently acquired 3 gorgeous and mischievous chickens of unknown breeds - Indiana, Luna and Vanellope. My dream is to once again live on a small hobby farm with my chickies, my gorgeous 17 year old tortoiseshell cat Princess, and several goats, sheep, rabbits and a dog or two.

My favourite thing to do is to read, and I have found this works out nicely when my chickies feel like going for an especially long wander through the back yard.
 
G'day, and welcome to BYC, Alysha. Glad you decided to join our flock. I love your chooks' names. We have a Luna in our flock. My granddaughter (pictured in my avatar) usually names our hens after Disney princesses, but we have more hens (25 total) than there are princesses, so she's named some of them after My Little Pony characters; Luna being one of them.
