We just got two new babies today! One is a Black Australorp (soooo sweet!); the other is a Golden laced Wyadotte (so sweet and BOSSY!). I'm amazed at how different their personalities are already. The BA just wants to sleep, while the GLW makes a lot of noise and keeps pecking the side of the brooder. I think she wants attention but if I put my hand in she runs away. Maybe she's missing her siblings.
We have more coming next week. I'm hoping it won't be too hard to mix them in together.
I've really enjoyed reading the posts on the site. I've learned so much! Hope to be able to add some too, once I have more experience!
