Hello! I'm new to this forum, but not new at raising chickens.
Hubby and I have 18 chickens. 15 are regular size laying hens and 3 are bantams. I also have 6 replacement pullet chicks (2 weeks old) brooding in our garage and 4 mixed ducklings (2 1/2 weeks old) also brooding in their own huge cardboard box in our garage.
I have been selling eggs for the last 5 years and while I will miss my "girls" when I sell them later this year, I can't wait to stop taking eggs with me everywhere I go!

My egg customers are very nice, but some of them prefer brown eggs only and they won't touch a green or blue one. It can get very hard to explain to them that all chicken eggs are the same on the inside. Oh well, hopefully my 6 replacement pullets will provide my family with all the eggs we need. Praying the ducklings will be female too! At least a couple of them anyway.
