West Of Ireland
Hello Everyone

Well where to begin...My name is David, I am new to poultry in general, even though I live on a small farm in the west of Ireland. We have not had any chickens (maybe when I was 5 or so but I don't really remember). This summer I am getting ready to section off an acre or more dedicated to chickens. I am not sure whether to hatch them myself or buy mature birds (suggestions welcome). Some useless info on myself, I am an 18 year old student starting my final year in Secondary School (High School) in September. I hope to study Physiotherapy...I love nature and I love being green and as Eco Friendly as possible. I hope to meet lots of friendly people on here and make some nice life long friends who share a passion in poultry.

Thats about all I can think of to write

I look forward to meeting you all

from Alabama. We started with chicks, but quickly started hatching out eggs in our incubator. Now, we're up to 3 bators with everything from peafowl, 1 duck, turkeys, guineas, & chickens in them. Just to warn you, though, hatching out eggs is just as addictive as chickens are

Good luck
