Hello BYC!
To those of you who remember former user Rooster-Red, I'm his son and eldest child.
To sum up several years of change...we lost our old home, gave our flock away, I moved to Alabama for a bit...came back to GA, met a woman online, and moved to the city of Lexington, KY to marry her.
By Lexington law, backyard chicken-ing is totally legal, but you can only own six, and can't have a roo among your flock. Hens only.
So, the other day, we went out to a little farm store tucked away on a road mainly used for industrial purposes, and bought six little babies - three Golden-Laced Wyandottes, and three Ameraucanas. They're only about three days old right now, and they've done decided that DW is their momma hen!
Anyways, it's good to be back on BYC!
