Greetings from Kitchener, Ontario

Hi everyone!

We're live in Kitchener, Ontario! Five kids, one dog, and three hens (two olive eggers and one easter egger - all three months old). We're kept pretty busy In the middle of a battle here to allow urban hens after a friend got shut down. In just over a week we've managed to get by-law to agree to stop giving notices until city council hears us. We have over 950 signatures on a petition (with 550 from Kitchener) and have been telling everyone to contact their councilors. We're be going before council in just under two months - any suggestions?

Does anyone have videos of kids & chickens enjoying each other's company - you could show at council meeting . Chickens make great pets - kids love 'em, etc. Would be good if someone has video of therapy chickens visiting nursing homes. Point to be made - they aren't just farm animals - they are GOOD companions.

Average person just thinks chickens crow, poop and bring down property values - WRONG!!!
