Hello everyone,
Scotty and Hannah here.
My husband and I decided to make an account after Googling answers to our chicken problems and being lead to this site time and time again. We are pretty new to having chickens (and a homestead in general). We got married in 2022, moved to Mississippi in 2023 and got our first chickens in April of 2024 with Guinea fowl following shortly after. We now have a garden, some sheep, a livestock guardian dog, a barn cat and of course our indoor pup, too. When we are not tending to the homestead we are studying/preaching the word of God (KJV), or recording video studies for our YouTube channel.
We hope to learn much from the experience here and maybe even add something to it ourselves one day.

Hi welcome, My name is Dominique Moore I also live in Meridian Mississippi, and also a Newbie here. I don't currently have chickens or a homestead at the moment but I really feel the need of having one in these times. I would love to find some free, egg laying chickens, ducks, quails and guinea. Would also like some sheep and goats also. I love animals , I am a disabled lady , I can't walk I have had to set some things to the side until I can get help to do them, but I never give up trying I love that You are Believers also, That's Cool.
