Hello, I'm Matthew, a new Chicken keeper.

I'd lived in the city all my life until we managed to escape to the country recently. The previous owner left behind 6 free range chickens (1 roo + 5 hens) despite us declining his offer to leave them, so we have become accidental keepers of these Chickens. My fiance thought itd be cute if they had chicks, so we let them go broody, and now we have about 30 chicks too.
