Hi, Kathy of Silver Spring Farm, located outside Springtown, TX. We are a licensed breeder/hatchery with our primary focus on American Buff geese. We also raise commercial Toulouse and gray Pomeranian Saddlebacks. We raise only geese at this time, but may try ducks sometime in the future. We currently support 65 goats with wings. We do not ever intend to venture outside waterfowl.
My husband and I are.retired USAF/TXANG. What started as a hobby and means to acclimate my husband to livestock 3 years has evolved into a business. We are small and able to give a lot of personal attention to our birds, their health and wellbeing. Heck, they're our kids, now! We do slaughter birds, (that's why we keep the Toulouse), but the ultimate goal is to make our birds worth more live than dead. Wish we could keep them all!
Our other resident fauna consists of one very large, enthusiastic Australian Shepherd/Border Collie dog, 4 cats, and 4 honest-to-Pete Easter Bunnies!
