Had chickens for years back on mainland but when we moved to Salt Spring (13 years ago) and never since... But, our new flock arrives (One dozen 5 wk old Barred Rock hens and one rooster ONE WEEK from today~! I'm over the moon excited to have a flock again. It's been way too long~!
