Hello BackYardChickens!
My name is Catherine and I have just started my chicken project. I am originally from Alabama and have some moderate experience with raising poultry. I've since moved to San Francisco I'm not about to let my big city yuppie lifestyle get in the way of my desire for fresh eggs!
I've recently designed a coop that will fit in our inner city garden and plan to raise two to three Plymouth Rocks this coming spring. I'm excited for the opportunity to add the noises of "cluck cluck cluck" to the symphony of cable car bells, buses breaking, yapping tourists, police sirens and all the other sounds of the city.
I'm glad to have found such a supportive and informative website!
