Hello to all
I am so happy to have found this site, I love reading all of your threads, such great advise and I love to see all of your chickies. I have two Bard Rock hens, no roosters dont want to tic off the neighbors yet.
When we bought our home on an acre in 2006 there was a shed that was out in the back far out, I decided that I wanted to raise some chickens bringing back some wonderful childhood memories so we pulled it out and rebuilt it into a nice chicken coop.
I will be posting some pic once my husband and my father inlaw are done putting the clap board shingles on it and I complete the trim. We built a nice out door feeding area to keep their feed from getting wet or the snow that will be coming. And started to build a fence around to keep the preditors out. I learned to clip their wings as they were starting to nest in the trees not good.
I look forward to reading more threads with great advise and all your updates, with pics. My next ventor will be two baby goats maybe next spring I will start that.
Every one have a blessed day!!
Sharon Ruth
