1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I haven't even started!! I will be starting my batch next year (springtime) and am getting everything ready in the meantime. My grandma will be helping me, who owns my house, and has raised chickens out here before.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
0, and I'm not sure how many to start with.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Another thing I haven't decided yet!

Google, looking up cute coops.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I'm an artist. I draw/write/paint, etc. I like to read and write. My favorite times are going on adventures with my dog.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My grandparents raised me, my mom is insane, my dad is aloof. My dog, Walter, is a pitbull/boxer mix 8 month old that I can't imagine being without now. I am unemployed currently... And I like cheese?
I plan on owning a lot of animals, a sort of mini-farm kind of thing, so I have a lot of questions concerning chickens and other animals and I hope this site will serve as a good stepping stone.
