Thank for the welcome guys. I love the site. My husband and I spent the weekend building a great little outdoor temporary coup to house our new chicks (when they're old enough to go outside... some of them already have most of their feathers) until their full time enclosure is done. We l aughed and had the best weekend working on the project. He even rolled his eyes when I brought one of my redheads over to show him how deeply red its comb and waddles were compared to the other girls... thinking I got the rooster I wanted in the mix too.

Anyhow, this is a great site. i'm glad I joined!
